Snack and a nap
After a slow start to feeding Colin has really caught on. He had some leftover gunk in his throat and was having trouble swallowing last night but has knocked back some formula this afternoon. The visitors have slowed down a bit so Mommy (and Colin) are taking a nap.
Here are a few more pictures from today.
Day 2
Lindsay is walking around feeling and looking great this morning. She must have done this before! Colin has already had his circumcision and pediatrician checkup - everything looks good! Lindsay has seen a bunch of different nurses in the last 12 hours due to a recent baby boom. The nursery was overflowing last night - a dozen babies - and not enough nurses to feed, rock, bathe, etc. At least we don't have a roommate as some other new mothers do!

We will head home some time tomorrow and get settled. Parker was very excited this morning to come and see his little brother. We brought some donuts for everyone! Parker left with T-Dub for a day of fun at the park and the zoo. He will come back up this afternoon for a visit after his nap.

Happy Birthday Colin
Seventh Heaven
High Five
Broken water
The doc just broke her water and checked her - still at a 3 which was very deflating for our brave patient. Epideral is on the way as is Mad Dogg with my lunch. Doctor will be back to check her progress around 2:30 p.m. Until then, enjoy a picture of mommy after a recent potty break.

Contractions
Not alot going on right now...can you tell?
The juice is working - lots of steady contractions that are starting to hurt! She is going to try and wait a while longer before taking the meds. Dr. Wellman is expected soon to break her water and then the action should start to pick up. Fetal movement has slowed, which means he is most likely assuming the luge position.

Colin

Ouch!

Lindsay continues to pound ice chips and play video games.
